A seamless blend of traditional and modern aesthetics, the Fox Knives Livri builds on the framework of a classic slip joint folder while utilizing current high performance materials for the blade and handle. This version comes with a satin M390 stainless steel Sheepsfoot blade and Coyote burlap Micarta handle.
Brand new, direct from Fox Knives.
Blade: The Sheepsfoot blade comes with a high saber grind for solid cutting capability and good strength. A spine swedge tapers the blade to a utilitarian point for fine work while the sweeping belly makes this a versatile slicer. A generous ricasso, spine jimping and good back spring strength offer control and safety in use. Satin finished M390 offers top-notch performance and style.
Handle: Minimalist and elegant, the streamlined handle is made from linerless burlap Micarta for a classically rugged yet stylish look and warm feel in the hand. Satin stainless steel hardware attaches the handles to the matching back spring which offers smooth, slip joint operation with a solid half stop for security. Includes Italian leather slip for carry.
No clip.
Bohler M390: Bohler M390 (analog to CPM-20CV and CTS-204P) is a premium powder metallurgy (PM) stainless steel with high level edge retention and corrosion resistance. A popular choice for high-end production and custom knives, M390 is relatively easy to sharpen, with toughness on par with 440C/154CM.
