Blade: The spear point blade of this folder has a hand rubbed satin finish with a full height hollow grind that ends in a finely sharpened edge with ultra clean grinds. A well defined long groove nail nick is present for opening with a solid half stop and decisive snap when opening and closing the blade.
Handle: The handles of this simple Barlow pattern folder are executed in solid titanium. The handles are contoured and finished with a fine media blast finish that gives the knife a clean, minimalist look and feel. Three satin finished titanium Torx screws complete the construction with a solid stainless steel back spring.
Includes a Peña embroidered nylon zipper pouch for carry and storage.
CPM-154: CPM-154 is a particle metallurgy version of 154CM that benefits from the refinement in the PM process providing it with an increase in toughness and easy of finishing. CPM-154 takes a very fine edge and is highly corrosion resistant. Edge retention is going to be on-par with CPM S30V while being easier to resharpen. A great all-around blade steel.
