Blades: Made from polished Tru-Sharp stainless steel this Barlow comes two blades: the traditional Clip Point blade for general utility work and a small pen blade for fine detail work. In keeping with the Barlow pattern the blades emanate from the bolstered end and have a solid half stop operation via the generous nail nicks.

Handle: A single, yet sizable polished nickel silver bolster compliments the Barlow’s handsome design. Smooth Turquoise Curly Maple Wood scales meet up to it perfectly. They’re pinned to brass liners and fit in the hand comfortably. This version has a classic Case Arrow Shield. Solid, stainless back springs provide good walk and talk on this timeless slip joint design.

Case Tru-Sharp: Case Tru-Sharp is another name for 420HC, a stainless steel that provides excellent rust resistance, ease of re-sharpening and moderate edge retention while being exceptionally tough for a stainless steel. With appropriate heat treatment it is said to preform similarly to VG-10 in wear resistance.
